What qualifies as a micro-wedding?

Micro-weddings are typically smaller, intimate celebrations with a limited guest count, often including close family and friends. These weddings focus on meaningful moments, emotional connection, and a more personal experience.

Do you photograph courthouse weddings and elopements?

Yes! LuxLens Portrait Studio specializes in courthouse weddings, elopements, and intimate wedding celebrations throughout Louisville, Kentucky and surrounding areas.

Can we add additional coverage time later?

Absolutely. Additional wedding coverage may be added depending on availability and your wedding timeline.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?

Sneak peeks may be delivered shortly after your wedding day, with full galleries typically delivered within the timeframe outlined in your wedding agreement.

How do we officially reserve our wedding date?

A signed photography agreement and a $150 wedding booking fee are required to officially reserve your wedding date.

A $65 reservation fee is collected when scheduling your consultation. The remaining $85 balance is due when your agreement is signed.

The $150 wedding booking fee will be applied toward your selected wedding collection.

Dates remain available to other inquiries until the agreement has been signed and the full booking fee has been paid.

What happens after I book my wedding consultation?

After scheduling your consultation, a $65 reservation fee will be collected to secure your appointment time.

During your consultation, we will:

✔ Discuss your wedding date and coverage needs
✔ Review wedding collection options
✔ Answer any questions you may have
✔ Complete your photography agreement
✔ Collect the remaining $85 balance of your $150 wedding booking fee

Once the agreement has been signed and the full $150 wedding booking fee has been paid, your wedding date will be officially reserved.

Do you help with posing?

Yes! Most couples are not professional models, and that is completely okay. We provide guided posing and direction throughout your wedding photography experience to help you feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the camera.

Do you travel outside Louisville?

Yes, travel may be available for weddings and elopements outside Louisville and surrounding areas. Additional travel fees may apply depending on location.

How many guests can attend a micro-wedding?

Micro-weddings are typically smaller, intimate celebrations with up to 26 guests. Weddings with larger guest counts may require a larger wedding collection depending on the size, timeline, and coverage needs of the event.
